The Netherlands Antilles  >  Welcome

Divers' Paradise The Netherlands Antilles consist of two groups of islands in the Caribbean Sea that form an autonomous part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Curacao and Bonaire are the ‘Leeward Islands’ and Sint Maarten , Sint Eustatius and Saba the ‘Windward Islands’ of the Netherlands Antilles.

The "Leeward Islands"
Bonaire is world renowed for its excellent scuba diving, preservation of the marine environment and its friendliness. Bonaire is the Caribbeans ‘best kept secret’. (http://www.infobonaire.com)

Curaçao, see what makes Curaçao unique: exquisite beaches and spectacular diving, stunning architecture, activities and adventures for every interest, plus a multi-cultural diversity, intriguing music, art and cuisine. http://www.curacao-tourism.com

The "Windward Islands"
Saba is known as the "Unspoiled Queen". It’s the smallest island of the Netherlands Antilles, but has the highest point in the Kingdom of the Netherlands; Mount Scenery (888 meters). Saba is excellent for scuba diving and hiking. (http://www.sabatourism.com)

Sint Eustatius used to be known as the Golden Rock, since the island played a vital role in trade in the 18th century. Nowadays ‘Statia’ is clean, unhurried and unspoiled. Pristine living, practically no crime, reefs teeming with fish. Gentle trade winds. People as warm and genuinely friendly as ever. (http://www.statiatourism.com)

Sint Maarten is a little European and a lot Caribbean! It’s the smallest Island in the world to be shared by two sovereign governments (Kingdom of the Netherlands and France). Consider yourself most welcome on Caribbean's most "Friendly Island," Dutch St. Maarten.
